  • Please help me, I have a bunch of acne on my face, chest, and arms and I can't take it anymore, I can't even stand to pass by a mirror and it's torturing me, I don't care how over-dramatic that sounds it's true. I know I shouldn't do this but I've popped almost all of them and they either scar (and the ones that have won't go away they've been there for months) or they will get more puss inside (sorry a little gross I know) and I will pop them again, I have OCD with popping lol, that's the only way I can explain it I can't resist popping those nasty little buggers when I see one. So I need something to get rid of them once and for all...please do NOT post a website about skincare, say "proactive", or tell me to wash my face because I can't afford proactive and I wash my face everyday.


  • My regular doctor gave me a prescription skin cream that worked. Do you have insurance? Also I hear the birth control pill helps a lot... killing a bird with one stone lol.!

  • Alright, I have the same problem as you....It frustrates me so much! Anyways, I have found that if you are home for one whole day, just make it your best effort not to look in any mirrors (just turn your head or close your eyes when passing one) + think REAL positive + tell your self you have good skin + also drink green tea (if you have any) + this will help maybe just a little :)

  • First, pop them safely and sterile if you're going to do it (like the above poster said). You can use a little antibiotic or neosporin to help it heal faster and it will help prevent scaring. On existing scars, try a dab of tea tree oil or coco butter cream 2x a day.
