  • If the article was titled, "Is Climate Change a myth?" it would be a whole different assignment. You could then research and report what you find. There's plenty of opinions and links to articles here on Y! Answers, both for and against manmade global warming.

    As it is, this assignment is completely loaded against reality. I wonder what kind of teacher would set a child this kind of homework? The whole point of education is to teach children to research, reason and draw valid conclusions for themselves.

    Asking you to write a PR piece for Climate Change Denial is like asking you to learn about physics by writing a piece entitled, "Heliocentrics admit defeat: Galileo apologises to Pope."

    EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that global warming is real, The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.


  • The earth is a very large system that we know very little about. Look up Gaia Theory. Also we know very little about the oceans and how the currents transfer all their energy. The earth is always trying to reach equilibrium...it can take care of itself.
