  • Im 13 and I can still remember events that occurred in my life at the ages of under a year old and up (and recite them in time line order). They seem natural to me, but strange to friends because I can come up with detailed scenes I had observed and talk about the way I thought as a small child.
    What causes my long term memory?
    Also when I was 1 my mom asked me what I was when I was born, and I replied saying I was a teacher in africa. And I could tell her the names of the children I taught and what animals saw. All of which were realistically accurate based on the "safari/tribal" environment I was in...
    Could this also be a result of my memory??

  • I am a firm believer in reincarnation. I still remember things that happened to me before I was"born" also. I am 38. My parents used to encourage me to talk about it, thinking it was my imagination, until, like you, I provided details. Then they gave me a book about reincarnation and started teaching me about Buddhism and the such. Embrace it.
